Meagan Good was born on August 8, 1981 in Panorama City in Los Angeles. Her parents were both her parents Leondis Leon Good and Tyrawardlow-Doyle. Her parents raised her with three brothers within Canyon Country in California and began acting around when she was just four years old. Her acting career began as an extra on television in her earlier years. At 13 years old, she got her first role in the debut movie Friday. In 1997, she became known for her role in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste an unruly teenager. She was awarded her debut N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nomination. Good was able to play small film and TV roles over in the following years, before transitioning into more seasoned roles during the mid 2000s. The actress starred as Nina in Cousin Skeeter, a Nickelodeon T.V. program from 1998 to 2001. In addition, she was offered small role on the show from 1998 to 2001. She also landed minor roles in the films House Party: Down to the final minute, as well as 3 Strikes. She played Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. The actress also appeared in D.E.B.S in 2004 which was an action-comedy film which earned her a nomination to be the Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards in 2005. In the following years, she was in several films such as You've been Served the Cookout the Venom one missed call Waist Deep as well as The Love Guru. While active in 2012, she also appeared appearing on T.V. She was a part of Mya, a multi-star in Think Like a Man as in Ms. Stevens for Dysfunctional friends. After having appeared in various local shows, Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 with the first part of the Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The reality show revolved around performers moving into one of the houses in a Hollywood California house.
