Meagan Monique Good was born on August 8 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle. Her mother managed her in her teens and her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. The acting career of Meagan Good began around age four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. Her acting career began as an extra on television in her young stages. She was 13 when she first got a role in the movie Friday. She played Cisely the troubled teenage in Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered the attention of her peers. She received two nominations and their first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good started with minor appearances on TV and film during a short period of time before moving into mature roles by the beginning 2000s. In Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter, she played Nina. show that ran from 1998 until 2001. In addition, she landed tiny roles in movies House Party Down to the final Minute and 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. Her nomination was for Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards in 2005 following her role in D.E.B.S (2004), an action-comedy feature.
