Meagan Monique Good was born on August 8 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle. Her mother managed her in her teens and her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. The acting career of Meagan Good began around age four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. Her acting career began as an extra on television in her young stages. She was 13 when she first got a role in the movie Friday. She played Cisely the troubled teenage in Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered the attention of her peers. She received two nominations and their first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good started with minor appearances on TV and film during a short period of time before moving into mature roles by the beginning 2000s. In Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter, she played Nina. show that ran from 1998 until 2001. In addition, she landed tiny roles in movies House Party Down to the final Minute and 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. Her nomination was for Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards in 2005 following her role in D.E.B.S (2004), an action-comedy feature. Then, she was featured in a number of films like You Got served The Cookout Venom One missed call the waist deep as well as The Love Guru. It was 2012 and she was still active as well on T.V. and films, she played Mya on the multi-film series Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends. Originally from Texas Killmer was one of the students at Baylor University in Waco Texas from where she obtained the B.F.A. in 2010. She earned an education in performing arts. In 2010, she launched her career on screen in the web-series If I Can Dream. After appearing in a variety of local productions, Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 in the pilot season of Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The show revolved around one group that began their lives in Hollywood California.
