Meagan Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles on August 8, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle worked as her manager while she was in her teens. Her acting career began at the age of around the age of 4, after growing up within Canyon Country with her siblings. She began her career in acting as a TV extra in early years. She was 13 when she was first cast in the movie Friday. In 1997 she got noticed for her part in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste, a troubled teenager. She received her first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nomination. Good performed small film roles and television part for a few years before transitioning to more mature roles. In Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter, she was Nina. From 1998 through 2001, she played Nina on the Nickelodeon television show Cousin Skeeter.
