Meagan Monique Good was born on August 8th of 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle her mother who worked as her manager in her teen years and to her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. The acting career of Meagan Good began around the age of four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. Her acting career began as an extra on television in her early age. at the age of 13, she starred in her first feature film called Friday. Her role as Cisely, the troubled teen from Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered the attention of her peers. In recognition of this, she received two nominations as well as the first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good began with small parts in television and film during a short period of time after which she moved on to adult roles in the early 2000s. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter she played Nina. Her role was as Nina on Nickelodeon's T.V. show, Cousin Skeeter, from 1998 to 2001. The actress also had little roles in films House Party Down to the last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. In 2004, she was a part-time actress in D.E.B.S A comedy action film that brought her nominations for Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Then she appeared in movies including You Got Serve The Cookout Venom,, missed call, Waist Deep as well as The Love Guru. The year 2012 saw her in both T.V. in films, she portrayed Mya as Mya in Think Like a Man with several stars and also Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional Friends. She began her career on screen in the web-series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer, who had performed in several local productions prior to making her debut on screen in 2010, was a star part of Simon Fuller's Hulu program If I Can Dream. The show focused on performers moving into one of the houses in a Hollywood California house.
