Meagan Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles on August 8, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle worked as her manager as she entered her teens. The acting career of Meagan Good began around the age of four. She was raised in Canyon Country, California with three siblings. In the early stages of her career she worked as an extra on shows like Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. When she was 13 She starred in her first film"Friday. The film first caught the attention of her performance as struggling teenager Cisely Batiste in Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she was awarded two nominations. One of them was her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good was able to play small film and TV roles over several years before transitioning to more serious roles in the early 2000s. Her role was Nina in Cousin Skeeter, a Nickelodeon T.V. From 1998 to 2001, she appeared as Nina on the Nickelodeon television show Cousin Skelter. She also landed small roles in the film House Party: Down to the final minute, and 3 Strikes. She played the role of Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. She was nominated as Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards 2005 after starring in D.E.B.S (2004) the action-comedy film. In the following years, she starred in a number of films like You Got served The Cookout Venom one missed phone the waist deep as well as The Love Guru.
