That same year, she dropped her debut album Know It All with the third song Scars to Your Beautiful being one of five original tracks which peaked on the Billboard charts, including The Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. In an interview that Cara gave with Rap Up, this track had lots of meaning for many people listening who were drawn to her story about learning to accept and love your self. Cara integrates messages about love and kindness in her songs. She's been in the midst of anxiety and insomnia, both of which affected her life. According to an Reuters interview, her album has been described as a halfway tumultuous, half perfected. Her growth was aided by therapy and advises people to seek assistance if needed. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician was born in Canada on 11 July 1996 to Italian parents of Italian descent. Her parents gifted her with guitar at the age of 10 and this led to her passion for music. She began to cover her favourite songs at age 13, to prove to everyone that she could sing and had the courage necessary to be the next singer. One of the songs Sweater Weather was able to get noticed by a record label called EP Entertainment which allowed her to compose and record the tracks.
